ABOUT ABOUT

Northwestern University Graduate Workers (NUGW) is a large and growing group of research and teaching assistants on campus. Like our colleagues at universities across the country, such as Princeton, Cornell, and the University of Chicago, we are seeking a stronger voice in matters that impact our experience at NU. We are dedicated to forming a strong, member-driven union at Northwestern and are affiliated with the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), the largest higher education union in the country.

All graduate students are encouraged to participate in NUGW. With dedication and a democratic organization, we can win a recognized voice for ourselves as graduate workers at NU. To that end NUGW-AFT will be hosting an organizer training on Thursday, January 5th, from 3-5pm at the Evanston Library. The training will be followed by a happy hour at the Celtic Knot.
